NOTICE TO BIDDERS
TOWN OF HERMAN
Notice is hereby given that the Town Board of the Town of Herman, Dodge County, Wisconsin will accept sealed bids for the following materials and services for 2024:
Project 1
Rock Rd- Madison Rd to the East 1,500ft x 21ft
- Excavate and remove current asphalt and 18” of road base/sub base. Haul away and dispose of material. Haul in, spread and compact 12” of 3” breaker and 6” of ¾” gravel
- Completed by 7/31/24
Project 2
Rock Rd- Madison Rd to the East 1,500ft x 21ft
- Prep existing gravel. Water, grade and compact. Pave a 3” compacted thickness to be done in two lifts using 4LT 58-28 S Hot Mix asphalt and install a 2-foot shoulder. Price to include paving into driveways and approaches.

Project 3
Town Hall Rd – W Iowa Rd to CTH P – 1,400 ft x 22 ft
Pulverize existing pavement. Water, grade and compact. Pave a 3” compacted thickness to be done in two lifts using 4LT 58-28 S Hot Mix asphalt and install a 2-foot shoulder. Price to include paving into driveways and approaches.

– Bids are due on Monday April 8th, 2024 at 6:00 pm
– Bids will be decided at the same board meeting on Monday April 8th, 2024 at 7:00 pm
– A copy of the road work bid list must be filled out as is and included in any bid to be considered. Available on https://townofherman-wi.gov/road-construction/
– Contractor must supply town with proof of insurance
– The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
